RiverCrest Condominiums Groundbreaking

December 30, 2003- On a bluff overlooking the Milwaukee River, the first shovels of dirt were removed for Mandel Group's newest condominium community, RiverCrest. The ceremonial event was enjoyed by a large group of community and business leaders, as well as families, future residents and neighbors.

The event marked the end of Mayor John Norquist's tenure in office and was his last ceremonial ground breaking event as Mayor of Milwaukee. In addition to an inspired keynote address, the Mayor recognized the foresight and accomplishments that Barry Mandel has made to revitalizing the downtown housing market throught the development of high quality apartment and condominium communities.

Located on Commerce Street near the intersection of Humboldt and North Avenues, RiverCrest will offer 65 condominium homes including multi-level and single level living. With spectacular views of the river corridor and the downtown skyline these modern loftstyle homes will feature grand window walls and a distinctive urban feel. Reservations are currently being accepted.

Phase 1 homes will range in size from 1,200-1,800 square feet and will include such luxury finishes as hardwood floors, solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances and European style cabinetry.
