10/16/04 RiverCrest Model Grand Opening
10/19/2004 - Over 200 people flocked to view the newly opened model at RiverCrest Condominiums on October 16-17. Visitors were welcomed by Harry Van Oudenallen, architect of RiverCrest and principal of the award-winning architectural firm Arquitectura.
Our new model demonstrates all of the benefits of purchasing a new condominium home at RiverCrest. The expansive windows provide a broad view of the neighborhood and the downtown's distant skyline. The quality of construction and finish materials is readily apparent. Visitors commented on the beautifully finished maple floors, toffee-stained kitchen cabinetry accented by granite countertops and custom hardware, and the flexible, open floorplan. The dining room is decked out with a full-sized table; the living room easily accommodates two seating areas.
The abundance of cabinets in the kitchen was viewed as a real plus by the gourmets in the crowd. Elsewhere, visitors found large storage closets on every floor. Both bedrooms feature large walk-in closets. A large storage closet on the main entry level is perfect for all that sports gear that just doesn't seem to fit in today's condominiums. A future resident of RiverCrest who visited with us at the Open House commented that they'll be finishing this closet for use as their wine cellar.
